2011 The Young Professional of the Year

Business NH Magazine and the Stay Work Play NH Initiative are looking for an outstanding young professional working and living in NH, between the ages of 18 and 40, who is a rising star in their industry and giving back to their community.

A panel of judges representing Stay Work Play NH and the Young Professionals organizations from across the state will select the award recipient.

The winner will be profiled in the November issue of Business NH Magazine.

Please limit responses to 1,000 words or less. The entry deadline is Friday, August 12, 2011.

In addition to this online form, please provide three letters of recommendations via e-mail from recognized business or community leaders. if the applicant is an employee at a company, one letter must come from their direct manager or the head of the company. Please e-mail the letters to Matt Mowry and make "Recommendation for Young Professional Award for (name of applicant)" as the subject line. All letters must come directly from those providing the recommendations.

1. Community Involvement: Please summarize the nominee’s involvement with civic organizations, community service groups, young professionals organizations and fraternal societies. Include nonprofit or political offices held, awards of merit received and specific volunteer projects worked on. 

 

2. Professional Achievement: Provide a summary of the nominee's contributions to his/her company and company's industry. Include a list of honors and awards, certifications and involvement in professional organizations.
