Business NH Magazine and the NH Businesses for Social Responsibility are proud to announce the 2010 Best Companies to Work For in NH.
At a time when the economy continues to cause some employers to cut perks and benefits, this year's Best Companies to Work For competition demonstrates how making employees happy also makes a business a resume magnet. Respect for employees, impressive perks and creative strategies to build a quality corporate culture have earned Dynamic Network Services Inc. in Manchester the title of Best Small Company to Work For in NH, and Autodesk in Manchester the title of the Best Large Company to Work For in NH, in Business NH Magazine's 14th annual competition.
Dynamic Network Services Inc. has 50 employees in NH, and Autodesk has 265 in NH (6,667 total). Both are profiled with eight other Best Companies to Work For in the December issue of Business NH Magazine.
Named to the Best Large Companies list are:
#1- Autodesk in Manchester (6,667 total employees/265 in NH)

Business NH Magazine established the Hall of Fame to honor companies that are named to the Best Companies to Work For list four out of five years, and this year Hypertherm of Lebanon joins the Hall of Fame for the second time.
Companies across New Hampshire answered Business NH Magazine's call to compete, completing extensive applications detailing their benefit packages, company culture, communication and employee development strategies, workplace philosophies and letters of support from employees. The field was narrowed to 20 semi-finalists by a panel of Business NH Magazine judges. From there, a panel of four outside judges evaluated the 20 semi-finalist applications while site tour judges, consisting of CEOs and human resources professionals from across the state, visited each company to interview their CEO and employees and tour the facility. Bruce Mast and Associates in Portsmouth organized the site tours. The outside panel of judges then reviewed scores from the applications and the site tours to determine the 10 finalists.
The 10 semi-finalists are: BAE Systems in Nashua, Claremont Savings Bank in Claremont, Colby-Sawyer College in New London, The Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth, Laconia Savings Bank in Laconia, BID2WIN Software Inc. in Portsmouth, Geophysical Survey Systems Inc. in Salem, Graphicast Inc. in Jaffrey, NH Community Loan Fund in Concord, and Orr & Reno P.A. in Concord.
Leaders from the 10 winning companies will share their best practices at the Breakfast With The Best forum on February 17, 2011 at the Radisson Hotel/Center of NH in Manchester.
