#1 Best Company to Work For in NH

For the past two decades, Business NH Magazine has partnered with NH Businesses for Social Responsibility to seek out NH’s best employers. Companies completed an extensive survey detailing their benefits packages and workplace practices. An employee engagement survey, administered by The Employee Engagement Group, had to be completed by at least 50 percent of a company’s workforce.

After analyzing the results of the employee engagement surveys and employer practices, the applicant pool was whittled down to 19 winning companies. Bruce Mast & Associates organized tours of the 12 highest scoring companies to determine the ranking of the top 10. Executives and HR professionals served as site tour judges, interviewing CEOs, hosting employee focus groups and touring facilities. Here is a profile of one of the winning companies:

- My firm provides opportunities to socialize and celebrate special events: 97.4% agree
- I am encouraged to learn and develop new skills: 96.9% agree

Company Highlights: Employees can earn points for: going above and beyond, identifying safety issues or on milestone anniversaries and redeem them on an online shopping portal; up to $3,000 bonus for new employee referrals; $25 gift card on your birthday; more than 40 hours of paid time off for volunteer work; flex schedules, including ability to work compressed workweeks to have three-day weekends; $4,000-plus in adoption assistance and one week paid leave for new adoptive/foster parents; summer outing included a luau-themed lawn party with inflatable water slide and hula dancers; tuition reimbursement up to $3,000 for undergraduate and $5,250 for graduate courses; onsite gym; company contributes up to $1,250 to health savings accounts; employees can earn a degree through College for America for free.
