Seacoast Healthcare Provider Expands

Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics, a Seacoast-based physical therapy provider with locations in Dover, Exeter, Plaistow, Portsmouth, Raymond and Rochester, is planning an expansion into the Merrimack Valley with an outpatient ambulatory surgical center in Auburn.

Currently in its initial phases of development, the facility is expected to open in 2017 as a full-time surgical center open five days a week. Services offered at the location will focus primarily on orthopedic, ear, nose and throat procedures.

Joshua Siegel, sports medicine director at Access, cites Auburn's proximity to both Manchester and the Seacoast as a key reason for the decision to construct the facility in the town.
