Michael F. Reed, president of Stebbins Commercial Properties in Manchester, will be the honoree at the 17th Annual Moore Center Garden Party on Thursday, June 29th from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Brady Sullivan Tower, 1750 Elm St. Over 400 people are expected to attend the event.

The Moore Center provides programs aimed at improving the quality of life of families and individuals in the Greater Manchester area. Proceeds from the Garden Party fundraiser support individuals with development disabilities and acquired brain disorders and others with intellectual, developmental and personal challenges. This year’s proceeds will benefit The Moore Center’s Children’s Services.

From 2007-2016, Reed served on The Moore Center Board of Directors, two years as chair, and has held similar positions with numerous other organizations. Reed has 32 years of experience in the NH commercial real estate industry, specializing in the sale and leasing of retail, office, industrial, investment properties and land.  Reed is the founding member and past director of the State Commercial Investment Board of Realtors (CIBOR) and received the Board’s Community Service Award. He is also the recipient of the Easter Seals Eugene Van Loan III Leadership Award.

A member of the Manchester Regional Advisory Board of the NH Charitable Foundation, Reed is also past president of the Greater Manchester Board of Realtors, past member of the NH Association of Realtors Board of Directors and past chairman of the Board of Directors of Easter Seals New Hampshire.  He is also a past Board member of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and past Board member and treasurer of the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund.  Reed also served as a travel hockey coach with the Greater Manchester Regional Youth Hockey League, and volunteered his time to soccer and baseball as well.
