|NH's New Leadership: Craig Gemmell|
|Published Friday, July 14, 2017|
Throughout 2017, Business NH Magazine will highlight the dramatic changes in NH's leadership since 2015 by profiling leaders in new positions.
Among the top priorities in 2017 for Craig Gemmell, who became the head of school at Brewster Academy in July 2015, is developing the school’s outreach efforts to ensure it has the financial resources to attract the best students.
He also wants to build a more vibrant relationship between the school and its host community of Wolfeboro. Brewster Academy is a private day and boarding school serving 360 students in grades 9 through post graduate who hail from 27 countries.
“I was interested in leading a private boarding school that has proven capable of serving a diverse population effectively and that is poised to assert itself as a leader in best educational practices, and I found what I was looking for in Brewster,” says Gemmell, who previously served as assistant head at Groton School in Massachusetts.
