Addapptation in Newfields won the Manchester Young Professional Network's 2017 Startup Challenge and received $55,000 in cash and in-kind services.
Sumner Vanderhoof, founder of Addapptation, says, "We at Addapptation are thrilled to have been a part of this year’s Startup Challenge. To us, the MYPN Challenge is much so more than funding; it is validation for our ideas and an opportunity to meet other individuals in New Hampshire that believe in this state as much as we do. Winning this year’s Challenge is the step we need to propel our business forward.”
“We want to offer Addapptation a big congratulations for being named the 2017 MYPN Startup Challenge Winner and we are excited to see what the future holds for them,” says Alex Horton, chair of the Manchester Young Professional Network’s board of directors. “The Startup Challenge is one of the most important programs MYPN offers each year because it reinforces the strong startup presence in the New Hampshire and helps budding businesses like Addapptation by providing resources to achieve their future goals."
“We also owe a huge thank you to our sponsors and to our business partners whose donations are critical to making the MYPN Startup Challenge a success. In the 10 years since this business plan competition began, it has grown immensely and has become a fixture in New Hampshire’s startup community,” says Emily Bolton, chair of MYPN's Startup Challenge Committee. “We are also extremely fortunate that our partners recognize the importance of young, engaged entrepreneurs in the business community, and we thank them for their ongoing support."
