Why Reducing Isolation at Work is Good For Business

The ability to work from home and to be constantly tethered to devices that allow us to avoid conversations with strangers while even waiting in line are just a couple of examples of how we are becoming less connected despite living in the social media age.

More than 40 percent of adults report feeling lonely—creating an epidemic of loneliness and isolation, according to a new article in the Harvard Business Review. Half of CEOs report feeling lonely in their roles, according to the report.
